Consists of LED board and thermal sensor which clips or attaches to the N2O vent tube.
Main board is 2x3” and runs of 9v battery which installs on the back of the board. The sensor connects by a 15’ cable running from the vent tube. The default sensor board is sized for 1/8” vent tubes and gently slides off the tube during launch. Custom sensors for different size vent tubes can be ordered.
The sensor detects the sudden and large drop in temperature when liquid N2O vents from the tube. Then a very very bright LED with focusing optics is flashed. This LED is easily visible from over 500’ in bright sunshine in snow. You will see it.
An optical aiming mode is provided which will turn the flashing LED on to assist you in aligning the light beam to the required viewing or LCO position.
